Optical Coherence Tomography
Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) is a non-invasive image technology used to obtain high resolution cross sectional images of the retina. This test can be compared to performing an “MRI of your retina”
Digital Fundus Photography
Digital Fundus Photography (Retinal Photography) utilizes a specialized microscope with an attached computer integrated camera designed to take photographs of the interior of the eye including the retina, optic nerve and macula.
These two tests are useful in diagnosing and monitoring various eye diseases. The images are immediately available for review and can be retrieved anytime.
